Professor FCUM Krystyna Jaźwińska-Dobosz, DMus Hab.

Kry­styna Jaźwińs­ka-Dobosz is a mez­zo-sopra­no. She obtained a degree in Romance Philol­o­gy at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Łódź, she also grad­u­at­ed from the Depart­ment of Vocal and Act­ing Stud­ies at the Acad­e­my of Music in Łódź.

In the peri­od of 1977–1983 she was a French teacher at the Łódź branch of Alliance Fra­nça­ise. Between 1979 and 1985 she was a soloist at the Great The­atre in Łódź,  and in 1985–2000  she was a soloist at the Great The­atre – Nation­al Opera in War­saw. She has per­formed on many Euro­pean stages (e.g. in Paris, Ber­li­n, Dres­den, Vien­na, Luxem­burg, Brus­sels, Moscow, Vil­nius, or Lviv).

Since 1998 she has been con­nect­ed with the Fry­deryk Chopin Uni­ver­si­ty of Music in War­saw, where she teach­es solo singing class and pho­net­ics of the French lan­guage for singers. In 2012 she obtained a post-doc­tor­al degree in music arts.

She is an author of the work enti­tled A sigh… — Hen­ri Duparc and his songs (FCUM, War­saw 2007).

Kry­styna Jaźwińs­ka-Dobosz is Pro­fes­sor at the FCUM at the Chair of Vocal Stud­ies.
