Interdepartmental Pedagogical Course

The Interdepartmental Pedagogical Course has worked since 1996. For many years it was headed by Zofia Konaszkiewicz, Full Professor. Currently this function is held by Katarzyna Dudek-Kostrzewa, Senior Lecturer.

The Pedagogical Course at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music is an interdepartmental unit allowing students to obtain teaching qualifications. Classes offered as part of the Course are optional subjects for all FCUM Departments.

Graduates of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music have an option to supplement their teaching qualifications after obtaining Rector’s consent, for a fee, as part of classes conducted for students.

The classes being part of the Pedagogic Course cover:

  1. a block of psychological and pedagogic subjects
  2. subject didactics
  3. supplementary subjects
  4. pedagogic training

Fee for the diploma of completion of the IPC – 30 PLN

For extramural students – fees according to the FCUM price list, i.e., for a subject ending with an exam – 300 PLN, for a subject ending with a completion (credit) – 150 PLN, one hour of practical training – 10 PLN.
