The system of continuous and interdisciplinary research includes basic and applied works aimed at supporting the needs of musical education and the country’s culture and economy. These works are conducted in the following fields: study of fine arts, psychology, pedagogy, medical sciences, engineering and environmental protection, sociology and philosophy. The interdisciplinary research teams are made up of musicians, music theoreticians, plastic artists, psychologists, pedagogues, physicians, physiologists, physicists, engineers and IT specialists. The results of their work, merging such research fields as science, technology and arts, have been received with much interest by several national and international research centres.
