Principles of availability od collections

  1. Since the academic year of 2014/2015 using library collections is only possible after settling all your previous borrowings. It applies to students and teachers – standard borrowings as well as borrowings in order to make copies or bring to class.
  2. The FCUM ID with a bar code functions as a library card.
  3. In order to activate your individual library account you should turn to the Lending Library, Reading Room or Sound Library.
  4. First you should try to find the needed materials (books, scores, sound materials, etc.) in the Library catalogue Aleph (in Polish). After you find the right items you need to log in to your account and order them. Information that your order is ready for collection is sent by e-mail.

  6. You should remember that all orders are carried out in the following way: — first: Aleph system orders, — then: e-mail orders, — other orders. The same applies to the readers’ service in the Lending Library and Sound Library.
  7. The number of items allowed for borrowing and the permitted period of borrowing are specified in the Order no. 1 of Head of the Library.

Detailed principles of availability of collections can be found in the Rules for Users of the Main FCUM (in Polish).
If the Lending Library is closed you can return books and scores in the Reading Room.
