The Main Library


The rich col­lec­tion gath­ered since the 19th cen­tu­ry (it includes some auto­graphs, scores and books) cov­ers over a hun­dred thou­sand scores and books. The Sound Library has about twen­ty thou­sand records, cas­settes and tapes. The Library con­sists of:

Library Database

Library cat­a­logue Aleph (in Pol­ish) con­tains data about books, scores, sound doc­u­ments and oth­er mate­ri­als stored at the Library of the Fry­deryk Chopin Uni­ver­si­ty of Music. The cat­a­logue is widened updat­ed sys­tem­at­i­cal­ly. The logged in users have, among oth­ers, an option to order select­ed mate­ri­als and browse their account.
Infor­ma­tion about the FCUM col­lec­tion is also avail­able on the web­site of the Nation­al Union Cat­a­logue (NUKAT) which is an asso­ci­a­tion of sci­en­tif­ic and aca­d­e­m­ic libraries:
