Born in Prze­myśl, Tomasz Ślusar­czyk grad­u­at­ed from the Com­plex of Music Schools in Prze­myśl and the Acad­e­my of Music in Cra­cow (diplo­ma with hon­ours). Since 1991, he has been con­nect­ed with the orches­tras Capel­la Cra­covien­sis and Radio Sym­pho­ny Orches­tra, with which he has made numer­ous record­ings for the Pol­ish radio and TV. He col­lab­o­rates with many orches­tras in Poland and abroad: Cra­cow Phil­har­mon­ic Orches­tra, Poz­nań Phil­har­mon­ic Orches­tra, Białys­tok Opera and Phil­har­mon­ic Orches­tra, War­saw Cham­ber Opera, and since 2005; he has coop­er­at­ed with the famous 18th Cen­tu­ry Orches­tra in Ams­ter­dam con­duct­ed by F. Bruggen.

He has per­formed as a soloist and cham­ber musi­cian dur­ing many fes­ti­vals in Rus­sia, Ire­land, Ger­many, Ukraine, Korea, or Great Britain. He is invit­ed to col­lab­o­rate with renowned musi­cians, such as: F. Bruggen, P. Ess­wood, Ch. Hog­wood, M. Toporows­ki, or K. Gołębiows­ki. It was under his artis­tic man­age­ment that the Pol­ish 18th Cen­tu­ry Orches­tra made numer­ous record­ings of music mate­ri­als from Jas­na Góra. He is also engaged in the stud­ies on the sources of Ortho­dox music on for­mer Pol­ish ter­ri­to­ries.

He fre­quent­ly sits on the jury of com­pe­ti­tions in Poland and abroad. He teach­es nat­ur­al trum­pet class at the Acad­e­my of Music in Cra­cow and the F. Nowowiejs­ki Acad­e­my of Music in Byd­goszcz (Chair of Ear­ly Music).
