Tere­sa Gręzi­ak is a doc­tor­al stu­dent at the ‘Artes Lib­erales’ Fac­ul­ty, Uni­ver­si­ty of War­saw, where she has been work­ing on her the­sis under the aca­d­e­m­ic super­vi­sion of Prof. Maria Poprzęc­ka; she was also a par­tic­i­pant of the doc­tor­al sem­i­nar enti­tled ‘Specu­lum Byzan­ti­num’ taught by Iri­na Tataro­va, PhD, and Bish­op Prof. Michał Janocha.

She grad­u­at­ed from the FCUM, major­ing in Choir Con­duct­ing, class of Prof. Bog­dan Gola (2011), and the Uni­ver­si­ty of War­saw, major­ing in Art His­to­ry (2014). At the FCUM she also stud­ied Church Music (2005/2006) and Ear­ly Music (2008/2009). She was a schol­ar­ship hold­er of var­i­ous pro­grammes, e.g., she won the schol­ar­ship of the Min­is­ter of Sci­ence and High­er Edu­ca­tion (twice); the DONGSANRYSZARD ZIMAK FELLOWSHIP found­ed by the Dongsan Research Foun­da­tion (for the aca­d­e­m­ic year 2009/10), 1st place at the FCUM and 2nd place in the Mazov­ian Voivod­ship at the Primus inter­pares com­pe­ti­tion. Stu­dent of the Year 2008. Thanks to the Socrates-Eras­mus pro­gramme, she had an oppor­tu­ni­ty to spend part of her uni­ver­si­ty stud­ies in Rome. More­over, in 2012, she was award­ed with the schol­ar­ship of Venice’s Fon­dazione Ugo e Olga Levi onlus for the real­iza­tion of the 33th Inter­na­tion­al Course in Gre­go­ri­an Chorale (Venice 2012, Cre­mona 2013). In the aca­d­e­m­ic year 2015/2016, she was award­ed with the schol­ar­ship as part of the pro-qual­i­ty grant of the ‘Artes Lib­erales’ Fac­ul­ty, Uni­ver­si­ty of War­saw.

She is an active musi­cian: she sings at the EMo­ti­vo vocal ensem­ble and the Aca­d­e­m­ic Choir of the Uni­ver­si­ty of War­saw. For five years (Sep­tem­ber 2010 – Novem­ber 2015), she worked with the War­saw Inter-Uni­ver­si­ty Choir, with which, on the occa­sion of 50 years of the ensem­ble, she con­duct­ed the jubilee sea­son enti­tled ‘Sztuk puk — otwórz się na sztukę’ [Knack knock – Open up to the Arts], an inter­dis­ci­pli­nary project pre­sent­ing select­ed fine arts works to the vision-impaired audi­ences. She was an ini­tia­tor of the com­po­si­tion and choir-relat­ed project enti­tled The Church Women (www.kobietykosciola.pl).  Since 2015, she has taught His­to­ry of Art at the Old Town Uni­ver­si­ty of the Third Age.

She has worked as a research and teach­ing assis­tant at the FCUM. In the aca­d­e­m­ic year 2017/2018, she  has con­duct­ed class­es in Ancient and Medieval Art, Mod­ern Art and Con­tem­po­rary Art.
