Katarzyna Dudek-Kostrzewa

She grad­u­at­ed from the Fry­deryk Chopin Acad­e­my of Music in War­saw where she stud­ied the flute in Pro­fes­sor Elż­bi­eta Gajewska-Gadzina’s class. She was award­ed a schol­ar­ship by the Pol­ish gov­ern­ment to con­tin­ue her stud­ies of the flute at the Roy­al Con­ser­va­to­ry in Brus­sels with Pro­fes­sor Marc Grauwels and Pro­fes­sor Georg Dumorti­er. She co-oper­at­ed for many years with many War­saw the­atres (e.g., “Stara Pro­chow­n­ia”, “Dra­maty­czny”, “Pra­cow­n­ia Teatr” and “Sce­na Prezen­tac­je”).

She has been a mem­ber of the Teatr Niewiel­ki group since 1990 and has many per­for­mances in her reper­to­ry which have attract­ed con­sid­er­able inter­est.

She has per­formed as a soloist with orches­tras in Poland (Kosza­lin, Zielona Góra, Płock etc.) and abroad (Bul­gar­ia, France, Bel­gium).

Cham­ber musi­cian. Teacher at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Music and dif­fer­ent lev­els of music school­ing. 2004–2008 Vice-dean of the Depart­ment of Music Edu­ca­tion at the Fry­deryk Chopin Acad­e­my of Music.

Senior Lec­tur­er Katarzy­na Dudek-Kostrze­wa is cur­rent­ly the head of Ped­a­gog­i­cal Course.
