Elżbieta Brodzińska

She grad­u­at­ed from the Fry­deryk Chopin Acad­e­my of Music in War­saw, Depart­ment of Com­po­si­tion, Con­duct­ing and The­o­ry of Music (sec­tion: The­o­ry of Music).

Since 1989 she has taught the­o­ry of music at the Com­plex of State Music Schools no.1 in War­saw – she teach­es ear train­ing, music basics, har­mo­ny with exer­cis­es and music firms. Since 2004 she has head­ed the Gen­er­al Music Sub­jects Sec­tion at the J. Elsner State Sec­ondary Music School and the Z. Brzews­ki Sec­ondary Gen­er­al Music School being part of the of State Music Schools no.1. She is an orga­niz­er and juror of Region­al Solfeg­gio Com­pe­ti­tions for sec­ondary music school stu­dents of the Mazov­ian region.

Since 1993 she was employed as lec­tur­er, and since 2004 she has held the post of senior lec­tur­er at the Fry­deryk Chopin Acad­e­my of Music in War­saw (now the Fry­deryk Chopin Uni­ver­si­ty of Music); she teach­es ear train­ing at the fol­low­ing Depart­ments: Depart­ment of Instru­men­tal Stud­ies (3), Depart­ment of Vocal and Act­ing Stud­ies (4), Depart­ment of Choir Con­duct­ing, Music Edu­ca­tion, Church Music, Rhyth­mics and Dance (5), and also har­mo­ny exer­cis­es at Depart­ment 5 and method­ics in ear train­ing teach­ing at the Inter­de­part­men­tal Ped­a­gog­ic Course. She also con­ducts foun­da­tion cours­es in ear train­ing for can­di­dates for the Depart­ment of Piano, Harp­si­chord and Organ (2) and Depart­ments 3 and 4. She is a mem­ber of the Inter-uni­ver­si­ty Chair of Aur­al Train­ing.

Since 1990 she has been a mem­ber of the Cham­ber Choir being part of the War­saw Cham­ber Opera, she is also a mem­ber of the fol­low­ing vocal ensem­bles: Cho­pin Vocal Con­sort (for­mer­ly: FCAM Vocal Con­sort) (since 1997) and Ben­no­ni­tae Can­tan­tes (since 2000). She received the Dis­tin­guished Cul­tur­al Ser­vice Award from the Min­is­ter of Cul­ture in 2003.
