Agniesz­ka Prze­myk-Bryła holds a post-doc­tor­al degree in musi­cal arts and is Asso­ciate Pro­fes­sor at the Depart­ment of Piano, Harp­si­chord and Organ at the Fry­deryk Chopin Uni­ver­sity of Music in War­saw. She grad­u­at­ed from the renowned Mikołaj Rej Sec­ondary School no. 11 in War­saw,  orig­i­nal clas­si­cal-pro­file class. She was a stu­dent of Joan­na Kurpi­ows­ka for 12 years, then she stud­ied at the Karol Szy­manows­ki Acad­e­my of Music in Katow­ice, class of Prof. Czesław  Stańczyk for two years. In 2004 she grad­u­at­ed with hon­ours from the Fry­deryk Chopin Acad­e­my of Music (now the Fry­deryk Chopin Uni­ver­si­ty of Music), where she was a stu­dent of Prof. Alic­ja Pale­ta-Bugaj (piano) and Prof. Krysty­na Boru­cińs­ka (cham­ber music). 

Since 2005 she has col­lab­o­rat­ed (as Assis­tant, then Assis­tant Pro­fes­sor) with the piano class of  Pro­fes­sor Alic­ja Pale­ta-Bugaj, and since 2007, cel­lo class of Pro­f. Tomasz Strahl. Since 2016 she has taught piano class at the Fry­deryk Chopin Uni­ver­si­ty of Music in War­saw, and, since 2004, at the Karol Szy­manowski Com­plex of State Music Schools no. 4 in War­saw.

Agniesz­ka Prze­myk-Bryła has won sev­eral prizes and awards at nation­al and inter­na­tional piano com­pe­ti­tions, e.g. the 1st Prize at the Nation­al Fryd­eryk Chopin Soci­ety Piano Com­pe­ti­tion in War­saw (2000), “Youth Stage” award at the Pol­ish Pianism Fes­ti­val in Słup­sk (2001), enter­ing final round of the Inter­na­tional Sergei Rach­mani­nov Piano Com­pe­ti­tion in Mor­cone, Italy (2003), or 2nd Prize at the 3rd Andrea Bal­di Inter­na­tional Piano Com­pe­ti­tion in Bolo­gna, Italy (2013). She also came sec­ond in the Pol­ish Lan­guage Olympics and was a final­ist of the All-Poland Latin Lan­guage Olympics.

Agniesz­ka Prze­myk-Bryła is a two-time win­ner of the schol­ar­ship of the Min­is­ter of Cul­ture and Art, she also won schol­ar­ships from the ZONTA Club, Cul­ture Foun­da­tion, Regi­na Smendzian­ka Foun­da­tion, and May­or of the City of Hama­matsu.

The artist took part in numer­ous piano mas­ter­classes (includ­ing at the 9th Inter­na­tion­al Piano Acad­e­my in Hama­mat­su in 2004), giv­en by Pol­ish and for­eign pro­fes­sors, such as Andrzej Jasińs­ki, Marek Miz­era, Jerzy Godziszews­ki, Andrzej Tatars­ki, Oxana Yablon­skaya, Jacques Rou­vi­er, Ser­gio Per­ti­caroli, Hiroko Naka­mu­ra, Karl-Heinz Kaem­mer­ling, Arie Var­di, Dominique Mer­let, Alex­ei Nasied­kin, Evgeni Mogu­ilevsky, Vera Gornos­tae­va, Lee Kum-Sing, or Niko­lai Demi­denko.

Agniesz­ka Prze­myk-Bryła has per­formed as a soloist and cham­ber musi­cian in many Pol­ish cities (Nation­al Phil­har­mon­ic in War­saw; Olsz­tyn, Opole, Sile­sia, and Zielona Góra Phil­har­mon­ics, as well as the Nation­al Music Forum in Wrocław), and also in pres­ti­gious con­cert halls in Aus­tria, Azer­bai­jan, Chi­na, Czech Repub­lic, Fin­land, Japan, Ger­many, USA, Switzer­land, Swe­den and Italy. In August 2015, she per­formed dur­ing the jubilee 70th Inter­na­tion­al Fry­deryk Chopin Piano Fes­ti­val in Duszni­ki-Zdrój.

She gives mas­ter­class­es for pianists in Poland, Italy, USA, Tunisia, Azer­bai­jan and Chi­na. She sits on the jury of piano com­pe­ti­tions in Poland and abroad. She has made many archive record­ings for the 2nd Pro­gramme of the Pol­ish Radio and Radio Gdańsk, and gave a few per­for­mances at the Pol­ish Radio BIS and the Amer­i­can Nation­al Pub­lic Radio.

The artist col­lab­o­rates with the Nation­al Edi­tion of Com­plete Works by Fry­deryk Chopin Foun­da­tion, the Inven­tio Pro Arte pub­lish­er, and she is also a mem­ber of the Siber­ian Chopin Soci­ety in Tom­sk, Rus­sia, and the Nation­al Phono­graph­ic Acad­e­my.  She reg­u­lar­ly gives Chopin recitals in Żela­zowa Wola and at the War­saw Music Soci­ety.

In 2004, togeth­er with Kon­stan­ty Andrzej Kul­ka and Tomasz Strahl, the pianist record­ed com­plete cham­ber works by Fry­deryk Chopin for DUX. The album won the “disc excep­cional” award of the Span­ish mag­a­zine Scher­zo, it was also nom­i­nat­ed for the phono­graph­ic award “Fry­deryk” in the cat­e­go­ry of  the “album of the year – cham­ber music”. In 2016, togeth­er with Paweł Gus­nar, she record­ed select­ed 21st cen­tu­ry Pol­ish works for sax­o­phone, also for DUX, and in 2018 she record­ed cel­lo sonatas by Zyg­munt Sto­jows­ki and Ludomir Róży­c­ki with Tomasz Strahl for Chopin Uni­ver­si­ty Press.

Agniesz­ka Prze­myk-Bryła is an author of the book enti­tled Sonata w twór­c­zoś­ci Siergie­ja Rach­mani­nowa [Sonata in the cre­ative out­put of Sergei Rach­mani­nov]  which was pub­lished with two audio CDs by GRADO, (Toruń, 2014).
