The Depart­ment of Instru­men­tal and Ped­a­gog­i­cal Stud­ies in Białys­tok runs stud­ies at the fol­low­ing Majors:

• Instru­men­tal Stud­ies (intra­mural stud­ies of the first and the sec­ond degree)
  • Spe­cial­ity: Instru­men­tal Ped­a­gogy – Piano, Organ, Harp­si­chord, Vio­lin, Viola, Cello, Dou­ble Bass, Wind Instru­ments, Accor­dion, Gui­tar, Percussion
• Music Artis­tic Edu­ca­tion (intra­mural stud­ies of the first and the sec­ond degree)
  • Spe­cial­i­ties (stud­ies of the first degree): Con­duct­ing Music Ensem­bles, Music in School, Church Music
  • Spe­cial­i­ties (stud­ies of the sec­ond degree): Con­duct­ing Music Ensem­bles, Artis­tic Edu­ca­tion in School, Church Music
• Vocal Stud­ies (intra­mural stud­ies of the first and the sec­ond degree)
  • Spe­cial­ity: Solo Singing

The fol­low­ing main courses are taught: ped­a­gogy, psy­chol­ogy, method and prac­ti­cal train­ing, instru­men­tal stud­ies and con­duct­ing. The fac­ulty at the Depart­ment of Instru­men­tal and Edu­ca­tional Stud­ies in Białys­tok is linked to with the respec­tive chairs at the Uni­ver­sity. The fol­low­ing pro­fes­sors are respon­si­ble for the main courses: Vio­letta Bielecka and Bożenna Saw­icka (con­duct­ing), Jan Kadłu­biski (piano), Juliusz Pietra­chow­icz (trom­bone), Beni­amin Przeźdz­ięk (clar­inet), Andrzej Zieliński (cello).
