The ensem­ble was cre­at­ed in 2017, emerg­ing from the FCUM Mixed Choir, which con­tin­ues the tra­di­tion of this kind of groups ini­ti­at­ed by Prof. Ryszard Zimak in 1986–1992. The aim of the cham­ber choir is the high-qual­i­ty per­for­mance of choir music of all time peri­ods, par­tic­i­pa­tion in com­pe­ti­tions and fes­ti­vals, pro­mo­tion the Fry­deryk Chopin Uni­ver­si­ty of Music in nation­wide, and con­sol­i­da­tion of choir achieve­ments in a form of archive record­ings. The first suc­cess of the choir in the ini­tial months of its activ­i­ty was win­ning a cup at the „Vivat Acad­e­mia” Aca­d­e­m­ic Choir Fes­ti­val, cat­e­go­ry: „Oth­er Con­duc­tor”. The ensem­ble has also record­ed cycles of Kurpi­an songs by Karol Szy­manows­ki and Roman Maciejew­s­ki.
