Instrumental Studies
This is the largest of the AMFC departments. It is responsible for the training of instrumentalists, persons who specialise in playing a musical instrument. Ramified education at this Department is aimed at the training of virtuosos, members of chamber orchestras and orchestra players. Students of all theses disciplines must take the following compulsory subjects: main instrument, orchestra (or choir for accordionists and guitar players), chamber ensembles, playing with accompaniment, literature for their particular instrument.
