Postgraduate Course on Dance Theory

Objective:

  1. to educate dance theorists, historians and critics,
  2. to improve the qualifications of dance history teachers at ballet schools,
  3. to improve the qualifications of teachers who teach "art" subjects at comprehensive schools.
The course also prepares students to conduct their own research, e.g., for their doctoral dissertation.

Duration: October 2009 - June 2010 (the fourth issue of the course)

Curriculum: The course includes lectures and practical classes (exercises, attending lessons by pupil-teachers), projections of the films of the ballet

Lecturers: Professionals from the Academy of Music, the Theatre Academy and the University of Warsaw.

Price: ca. 350 PLN a month.
