Postgraduate Course on Dance Theory

Objective:
- to educate dance theorists, historians and critics,
- to improve the qualifications of dance history teachers at ballet schools,
- to improve the qualifications of teachers who teach "art" subjects at comprehensive schools.
The course also prepares students to conduct their own research, e.g., for their doctoral dissertation.
Duration: October 2009 - June 2010 (the fourth issue of the course)
Curriculum: The course includes lectures and practical classes (exercises,
attending lessons by pupil-teachers), projections of the films of the ballet
Lecturers: Professionals from the Academy of Music, the Theatre Academy and the University of Warsaw.
Price: ca. 350 PLN a month.
