Professor Małgorzata Lewandowska

Associate professor at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Department of Sound Engineering. She graduated with honours from the Department of Sound Engineering in 1977. She does sound engineering for feature films, documentary films and TV theatre.

She teaches the following subjects at the Department of Sound Engineering: sound engineering for film, years 2, 3, 4 and 5, exercises in sound engineering for film, year 1.

These classes are conducted at the Academy of Music Film Studio. Students learn the methods of sound engineering for film and, under their teacher's supervision, they prepare the sound tracks for various film forms: film chronicles, animated films, documentary films, film studies and feature films. They acquire experience as sound engineers, develop their creative personality, discover the ways and means of emotionally influencing audiences and listeners. They learn to be responsible for their own creative ideas for sound tracks and to strive for the highest possible aesthetic and technical level of production.
