Upon graduating from Music High School in Wrocław he began to study at the State Higher School of Music in Warsaw in Professor Zenon B±kowski's class. He perfected his skills at Guildhall School of Music and Drama under such masters as Yehudi Menuhin and Yfran Neaman.
Tadeusz Gadzina has won several international violin competitions including J. Sibelius Helsinki, N. Paganini Genoa, H. Wieniawski Poznań, Flesh London and Queen Elizabeth Brussels. In 1993 he also won a gold medal at the International Prize Winners' Contest in Plewen, Bulgaria. He has been very successful both as a soloist and as a chamber music performer. He has been the first violinist in the famous Wilanów Quartet ever since the group was founded, i.e., from 1967 to this day.
As a soloist he has made many radio, television and record recordings. For example, he made a record of Witold Lutosławski and Karol Szymanowski's music. He performs systematically in Europe, Japan, USA, Brasil and Canada.
He has conducted many master courses in Poland and abroad. He also co-operates with the Japanese chamber orchestra "Tokio Solisten" with which he made a record production of J. S. Bach's works.
Tadeusz Gadzina also teaches. He is a professor at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw where he teaches a master violin class.
