Three Lectures on the Psychology of Music
Professor John A. Sloboda - a prominent English scientist, internationally known for his work on the psychology of music - visited Poland in October 1997. During his visit he presented a series of lectures and participated in various meetings and discussions with polish musicians, music teachers, musicologists, and psychologists.
This book comprises three lectures presented by Professor Sloboda and also includes discussions which followed the lectures. The lectures are the following:

- Emotion and meaning in musical communication - psychological perspectives
- The musical mind 15 years later: How has the psychology of music developed in the 1980s and 1990s?
